Usage:
TRIMMING,
TWEEZING AND FINISHING
I.
Divide your trimming into 2 parts: the first ¾ of the
brow (from nose to end of arch), should be trimmed with brows
hairs brushed vertically, while the outer ¼ should
be brushed on an angle to avoid cutting the hair too short.
Use Spiral Brow Brush to brush the hair upwards and trim any
excess hairs above the brow line. Brush the second section
at an angle towards the temple and make sure not to cut the
hair too short. Never trim the last few hairs of your tail
to create length. Do not cut the hair too short, as it can
create spiky brows. Trimming at the wrong angle creates gaps.
II.
After you have selected your ideal shape, brush the
eyebrows upward. Look in the mirror and use your opposite
hand to gently pull the skin from the outer edge of the eye
area and pull one hair at a time. Hold the tweezers from the
middle to have a good grasp. Repeat on other side, making
sure to check frequently to assure symmetry. Use my Slanted
Tweezers (best for beginners and men) or Pointed Tweezers
(for tweezing pros) to remove one hair at a time with a quick
motion in the direction of the hair growth. Tweeze 2 or 3
rows of hair, and resist the temptation to overdo it. Gently
pull the skin towards the forehead and remove any stray hairs
between the brows. Check to see that your brows are symmetrical
and when refining your shape tweeze a few hairs from one brow,
then go to the other side, until both eyebrows are even.
III.
Chose a Skinny Definer/Eyeliner to complement your
skin tone. Using a steady hand and holding the skin up to
the arch, follow the brow line and outline the arch. To fill
in sparse brows or bald areas, use Chunky Filler, matched
to your skin tone using light feathery strokes to achieve
a fuller look. Use my Brow Powder Trio with the Angled Brush
for those of you who prefer a softer coverage. Match your
skin tone accordingly. Set your look with my Brow Shaper Gel
to keep hair in place. It is recommended for everyone to achieve
a slick, polished look and will even condition the hair! Caution:
Use pencils and/or powder before applying Brow Shaper Gel
to avoid clumping.
